I don’t believe I’ve heard about it. When you connect to the vpn are you able to ping the FQDN? Can you ping any domain controller by name or IP? Normally we only install the AV component on server with Avast as it causes the least hassle, and the firewalls are always turned on anyway just with open ports where we need it – however in this case the AV component was installed with 4 other components including Web Sheild, File shield, spam shield and a few others which wouldn’t let the remote machines query for the SRV DNS record over the VPN which was the issue we were having.
Removing the AV and installing with only the AV component fixed all of our issues, so a quick heads up to anyone using Avast Cloudcare having the same issue!
